Description:
Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota provides high quality legal representation and community legal education to low-income and elderly persons in 22 northwestern Minnesota counties, using three staffed law offices and 230 private Judicare attorneys. Representation focuses on priority cases, generally those most critical to life, health, safety, shelter, and basic subsistence income.
In a respectful and courteous way that preserves and promotes the dignity of each client, LSNM staff and Judicare attorneys assist individuals and eligible groups to know and enforce their legal rights; obtain effective access to courts, forums, or administrative agencies; and acquire and preserve benefits, services and entitlements necessary to become self-reliant to the extent permitted by individual circumstances and abilities.
