Description: Offering information & referrals to local services, friendly visiting & respite care, a Caregivers Support Group, and a Volunteer Driver Program. Caregivers Support Group meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 1:30 - 3:00pm. Volunteer Driver Program for non-emergency medical appointments, grocery shopping and other errands for anyone in need, including cancer patients, residing in Red Wing. Call at least 2 business days ahead of time ride needed to schedule. Volunteer drivers drive their own vehicles which may not be handicap accessible. They provide transportation for radiation appts for Red Wing residents to destinations within 6 miles of Red Wing which is the only time they drive outside of Red Wing.
